Montana plane crash kills 14

Federal investigators  investigate the crash of a private airplane that the Federal Aviation Administration said left seven children and seven adults dead. The group may have been headed to a ski trip but the crash site left very little immediate clues. The crash sight was very compact and there were no large remains of the plane apparent. The flight was headed to Bozeman, Montana, but was rerouted to Butte instead. The plane crashed 500 feet away from the runway at Bert Mooney Airport. Forutnately, no one on the ground was injured. The weather was nice which was not a factor of the crash.

The plane stopped at the Oroville airport about 11 a.m., refueled, and departed about half an hour later, said Police Chief Kirk Trostle.

“There were some adults and children on board,” he told reporters Sunday evening, adding that the passengers got out briefly to stretch while the pilot refueled the plane.

Eric Teitelman, Oroville’s director of community development and public works, said the small airport has no control tower, but, because it has a “wide-open runway” and a self-service fuel system, it is a frequent stop for general aviation aircraft.

It’s unfortunate how the cause of this plane crash are unknown and that there was no strong evidence to help. It may have been the built of the plane. There could of been some flaws in the manufacturing of it because there were conflicting reports about ownership of the plane, manufactured in 2001.

So the news host that i am following is Anderson Cooper. I’ve been watchin him on cnn Anderson Cooper 360. He has a strong opinion but he’s more sarcastic so you know how he feels about a subject.

Here’s some facts:

Anderson Cooper is an american journalist who was born June 3, 1967. He is currently working as the primary anchor for cnn news. The program is normally broadcasted live from New York but Cooper also may broadcast live on location for breaking news.

His Career Time Line:

  • 1999–2000: World News Now co-anchor
  • 2001–2002: The Mole host
  • 2003–present: Anderson Cooper 360*
  • 2005: NewsNight co-anchor
  • 2007–present: 60 minutes correspondant

Some fun facts about Cooper:

Cooper also has played a pivotal role as part of the Best Political Team on Television for CNN’s America Votes 2008 coverage, reporting and anchoring coverage from both the Democratic and Republican national conventions. In 2007, Cooper moderated the groundbreaking CNN/YouTube debates for Democratic presidential candidates from The Citadel in Charleston, S.C., and for Republican presidential candidates in St. Petersburg, Fla., and, in 2008, moderated a Republican debate at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, Calif.

Mr. Cooper is definately a liberal!

Memorable Quotes:

“To me, there is value in bearing witness to what is happening to people who are living their lives with great dignity in the face of horror. People have asked me why I would want to go to Iraq. To me, it’s a privilege to be able to do that.”

“I’d always been interested in travel and dark places on the map. I wanted to see these places and learn things about myself, as well as the people in them. So what I started doing was going to wars with my video camera.”

“Neither of my parents believed in joining clubs or being involved in anything that reeked of elitism or exclusiveness. Growing up,’elitest’ was the worst thing you could say about someone.”

About his work on Hurricane Katrina, Cooper told the New York Times, “This is life and death. This is not some blow-dried pundit standing outraged for some ratings, which is what cable news often boils down to….I have been tearing up on this story more than any story I’ve worked on…It’s hard not to be moved.”

Defiant Sudanese president takes a visit to Darfur

Sudan’s President Omar al-Bashir takes his very first visit to Darfur since since and international tribune ordered his arrest on war crimes. He was pledging resistance sunday on what he called efforts to “recognize” africa. many thousand of supporters were in the streets of El-Fasher, the capital of Sudan’s North Darfur state. Bashir toured the city drwaing cheers similar from a rally in Khartoum. The International Criminal Court at The Hague, Netherlands, has charged al-Bashir with war crimes and crimes against humanity. The tribunal issued another warrent for his arrest. They accusing him of complicity in a campaign of violence against the people of Darfur, in the west of the country. The The allegations come from the long-running civil war between rebels in the territory and the government in Khartoum. United Nations estimated that around 300,000 people have been killed in the conflict, and 2.5 million have been forced to flee their homes. What a suprise, Sudan has angrily rejected the accusations and the indictment. Well, after the warrent Sudan ordered a number of international aid agencies out of the country and seized their assets.  agencies have warned that the expulsions could have put up to 1 million lives at risk — but the warrent appeared to rally many Sudanese behind Bashir… They are crazy!!!!!

“The decision of the International Criminal Court has generated support,” Durand said. “It transcended a bit the political parties here. So it’s a question of national pride somehow.”

Ican not comprehemd while Sudanese would back up Bashir because everything he is doing in Darfur is horrible!!!

sudan soldier tells about being forced to rape and kill children
March 4, 2009, 5:27 pm

Cnn interviewed a sudan soldier who spoke about his horrifying exerience in darfur. This mas explains how he was forced to kill and rape young children. He didn’t want to be a part of those actions because he knew it was wrong. But if he didn’t he would of been torchured or killed. He had the understanding that he was suppose to be getting national training but he soon learned that wasn’t the case.  He was forced into the army against his own will. He condoned what he was he forced to do but he had no other choice.

This is horrible that men are force into raping and killing. Secondly i have no understanding how a government could want to do this to their own people. If things do not change and if someone doesn’t intervene who ever it may be these rapes and killings will keep getting worse and worse and the citizens of darfur could be whiped out.

Abortion could dominate Sebelius confirmation

http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/03/02/sebelius.abortion.fight/index.html

So anyways one point of this article is that Catholic League president refers to Gov. Kathleen Sebelius as the “enemy of unborn.”

This women is a candidate to be considered in obama’s cabinet but congress is focusing more on her pro-abortion then qualifications.

NOT COOL CONGRESS!

its not that im saying im for abortions because im not but that’s not the issue here the issue is that congress needs to be focusing on what she can do for the cabinet and not that she is for abortion.

Obama is probably going to be dealing alot with abortion issues now because he nominated her to head the Department of Health and Human Services.

The liberal group Catholics  have come to Sebelius’  defense and saying that she has taken steps to lower the abortion rate in her state. Also it may be known now in the media that she is not for abortion anymore.

“My Catholic faith teaches me that all life is sacred, and personally I believe abortion is wrong,” she said then. “However, I disagree with the suggestion that criminalizing women and their doctors is an effective means of achieving the goal of reducing the number of abortions in our nation.”

child abuse may alter stress-fighting gene

It is understood that child abuse may alter the stress-fighting gene, leaving them more vulnerable to stressful events during their lives.

The genes we inherit determine how they will preform their functions. Asuming in this case the abuse victim’s DNA was not changed but a specific gene’s expression was dampened which usually causes the brain to produce more calming hormones.

That seems very possinble because there is no way child abuse would not have a powerful imapct on a person mentally and internally too.

The day after Obama outlined his startegy to attempt to turn the nation around americans are still wondering if they will survive the recession. The federal government pledges to put hundreds of billions of dollars towards creating new jobs, new projects and tax cuts families are still struggling starting with education and mortgages. Honestly the answer to this question is staying smart with your money.

Is your money safe?

People are worried that government is going to move toward nationalizing banks but right now that would be definatly to hard for the government to manage. Nationalizing banks in other countries didnt work so why start now. But the FDIC will protect americans money so they dont need to worry. in this bad economy right now how could you not worry?

http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/02/23/child.prostitutes/index.html

The police booked 464 adult prostitutes, 55 pimps, and 55 customers on state charges. The FBI found  $438,000 in cash, plus illegal drugs, cars, and computers. So the officials say innocence lost task forces recovered about 670 children in 6 years. Law officials arrested over 500 people and took in around 48 juveniles. 19 searches were conducted, netting a total of $438,000 in cash, plus illegal drugs, cars and computers. Dozens juveniles were recovered in the third phase of Operation Cross Country. In previous operations authorities recovered 21 alleged child prostitutes last June and 47 in October. The most recent of this operation ivolved law enforcement in several states including California, Alaska, Michigan, Georgia, Colorado, Oregon, Alabama, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Illinois, Texas, Florida, Ohio, Minnesota and Arizona.

Thats really crazy how they arrested around 500 people in that raid and 48 were juveniles. It’s sad to know that children turn to prostitution and when people in generall do that and how it just leads them on the wrong path. They also stole so much stuff it just is very depressing but its always going to happen no matter what you do.
